Eligibility Requirements

Work Experience

At least one year of continuous full-time (or equivalent part-time) skilled work experience in the last 10 years. Your work experience must be in a skilled occupation classified as NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3.

Language Proficiency

Applicants must achieve Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 minimum across all competencies (reading, writing, listening, speaking) in English or French.

Education

Post-secondary credentials must be assessed against Canadian standards via Educational Credential Assessment (ECA).

Points System

Candidates need at least 67 out of 100 points on the FSWP selection grid evaluating age, education, experience, language abilities, and adaptability.

Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)

Once you meet the minimum 67 points, applicants receive CRS-based rankings. Highest-scoring candidates obtain Invitations to Apply during Express Entry selection rounds.

1. Establish Express Entry Profile with credentials and background
2. Obtain CRS Score ranking
3. Receive Invitation to Apply if ranked favorably
4. Submit complete application within 60 days with required documentation
